Project Management Handbooks
Many companies recognise the need for project management within their organisation.
Often they will train some staff members on MS Project, maybe PRINCE2 or a similar product and then ……nothing.
Without the backing of management most project management initiatives will fail or be largely ineffective.
Without established well publicised processes the people running projects will do what they can but this will be very much down to the individuals experience.
The level of maturity of any organisation will be enhanced by the publication of a Project Management Handbook.
The Project Management Handbook details all the processes and procedures to be used when running projects for a given organisation.
The handbook includes project lifecycle information, template forms to support all the processes outlined and the roles of the individuals involved in projects.
The chosen project management tool, Ms Project or Primavera for example will be outlined here together with any training requirements necessary for staff to gain the correct level of expertise.
JEMCO has been providing robust Project Management Handbooks to clients since 1991.
Clients to date include: The Royal Bank of Scotland, GEC Harris, WNDC, TTGDC
